Tired of the middle and high school drama? Would you like your daughter to connect with a broader, more welcoming group of friends?

Look no further-Troop 543G is here for you!  Our troop consists of 24 girls ages 11-17 who enjoy fun activities, building friendships and learning lifelong skills together! We meet most Sundays from 4PM to 5:30PM at Robeson Lutheran Church in Plowville, PA.

Our troop is diverse, with scouts from Chester and Berks counties.  They come from various educational tracks, including homeschool, co-ops, public and private schools, and participate in a range of extracurricular activities like choir, band, orchestra, sports teams and youth groups. We embrace many religious and ethnic backgrounds and everyone is welcome.

About Us...

Unit 543

Unit 543 consists of three sections: a Cub Pack for boys and girls in Kindergarten through 5th grade, Troop 543 for boys aged 11 to 17, and Troop 543G for girls aged 11 to 17.  Both troops gather on Sundays from 4PM to 5:30PM at Robeson Lutheran Church making it convenient for families with scouts in both troops.  However, they meet in separate areas and operate independently.

 Troop 543G-Scout Led

Troop 543G operates under a Scout-led Patrol Method, emphasizing youth leadership. Scouts are elected by their peers to take on leadership roles, where they are responsible for planning meetings, organizing outings, and mentoring younger Scouts.

Adult leaders, including the Scoutmaster and Assistant Scoutmasters, provide guidance and support, helping the youth set goals and explore new opportunities. All adult volunteers complete annual Safeguarding Youth Training along with additional outdoor and safety training. We maintain a strict two-deep adult leadership policy at all times, including during online communication, to ensure a safe and positive environment for all Scouts.

Scouting is available to all...

We understand that financial challenges can be a barrier for some families interested in scouting. that's why we have resources available to support those that may need assistance.  We believe that money should never prevent a youth from joining scouting and experiencing all the opportunities it offers.  If you have any questions or need more information about the recourses available, please reach out to to us.  We're here to help!
